How Sad

See the thing is I know I'm imperfect and not without sin
Unlike you I don't need superficial praise as accolades to to know that I win
Hiding behind false assumptions
Not knowing we can read you like a book
You suffer from a paralyzing fear of what's next
So you refuse to take a look
Eyes glaring wild with obscurity
Knowing one peek is all it will take for your whole world to be shook
Creating a quake to your inner-most thoughts
rattling every harbored feeling inside
Contradicting every self rule of which you abide
Realizing your not perfect either
Yet you still enjoy your time out on your ocean of conceit
Afloat you yacht constructed of lie you never tire of hearing people repeat
The rays of realism being blocked by the self-actualizing SPF you've applied
They say "Pay It Forward" and you've just been getting paid
Ripping off everyone else with you selfish conceitful,
Deceitful, disrespectful, rejectful, neglectful, overly narcissistic ways
However years down the line
when your looks start to fade
Needing to be nipped & tucked
Stretched & pulled in the most uncomfortable of ways
That's when you'll realize you've never had anything of substance
Not even a real friend made

It is said that one of the factors which separates man from other mammals of the animal kingdon is the ability to rationalize; this means not being strictly compelled by instinct. So why is it that we make decisions in life based on aweful truths, that we ourselves are too cowardly to speak on. Whereas by doing so the securities of those borders are weakened. Why is it that our ability to ask questions are over-powered by our fear of rejection. through questions there is understanding, so its obvious that with a lack of communication through questions there would be a lack of
